British East and South East Asian (ESEA) communities are missing from UK television, and now we have the data to prove it.

The Creative Diversity Network’s Diamond Report, The Seven Point Five Cut, paints a stark picture. For the first time, East and South East Asian creatives have been counted as distinct groups.

It’s beautiful to see so much BESEA talent on one square! This is only a fraction of our community. It was inspiring to speak to and meet everyone this year from all corners of our industry, from creatives to technical, to performers and artists!

Our first event was inspiring! Here are a few snaps we got from Saturday.

Rising Waves brought people together and it was awe-inspiring to see everyone connecting, laughing and smiling.

We can’t wait to hold more events and get more of the community involved. We’re working hard behind the scenes putting together the next 5 months of programming.
